27.09.2021 – 01.10.2021
The course will be the first on the topic of the remote sensing tecniches for water requirements and irrigation management on SMARTWATER activities.
The event will occur online (for early-stage researchers and scientists from UNI-BL and UNSA) and presential (for ISA students, limited to room capacity) from September 27 to October 01.
The aim of the ATC is to train early-stage researchers (ESR) and students, where they will become familiarized with the fundamentals of remote sensing techniques applied to estimate crop water requirements, modeling crop water requirements with the FAO56 approach, use of satellite data to estimate evapotranspiration and basal culture coefficients, and use of models and new technologies to support integrated water management in agriculture.
During the course, various applications of remote sensing techniques and tools and FAO 56 updates will be made to estimating crop water demands for estimating irrigation water management
